The Prince’s foundation has been incorporated into the London Season at the request of His late Highness’s executors. It is a non-monetary foundation, promoting cultural understanding. The London Season visits to India, staying at the former Royal Palace of His Highness, are in memory of a most wonderful patron, initiating new Indian ambassadors, through the support of the Royal family of Jodhpur in a major ambassador weekend at the palace.

For over two centuries, The London Season has been the heartbeat of upper-class British society. Founded in 1780 by King George III to celebrate the birthday of his beloved wife Queen Charlotte, our tradition has endured through generations, evolving with the times while preserving the elegance and grace that define British heritage.
Today, under the patronage of the Duke and Duchess of Somerset, we continue this extraordinary legacy — not merely as a celebration of society, but as a platform for young women to develop confidence, cultivate etiquette, and contribute to charitable causes that transform lives.
